Butterflies

In December, your gift from Stephanie didn't feel like much, but six months later it displayed a miracle right before our eyes. 

These guys sure had us fooled a couple times. 

7/10 made it to chrysalis and 5/10 to a butterfly...not too shabby for being dragged across the country and back.

You even brought one to release in Stephanie's backyard. 

Last day of Preschool

Julia, so thankful you loved everything about preschool this year. Most days you loved getting dressed and ready for school. You might not have been super excited about getting your hair brushed or a variety of clothes...but you finished every day of school with a smile on your face and a story to tell. 

I'll treasure every day we have together this summer and next school year, I promise. I might even teach you how to count to 30 without blending 13,14,15 and 16 into one or two numbers and try to keep you from skipping to 80! 

Hopefully, playing "school" with you and letting you teach me a couple things will help make things stick. 

Carnival a second time around

A carnival is "much more better" with cousins. That's all I got to say about that!

Oh and a little Dramamine!

How could I forget the goldfish! We didn't  even have them alive king enough to take pictures of them and name them! 

Fun, fun and an added bonus with Shelby! 

I think we have our fix for carnivals for a while! Now next stop will be amusement parks! The only way you will ever experience that is with your cousins! 

Carnival

Carnivals should be scary! Should we really trust these pack n play rides? 

However, when you are looking for things to do and they happen to pop up across the street from your hotel...well it's a must, scary or not. 

BORING!!!!

And left wanting (actually planning) on going again! 

Pennsylvania adventure

Our trip to Pennsylvania was "so good!"

You two were THE BEST travelers. For example, our last stop just 45 minutes from home was one that was "much more faster" because you two watered the grass on the side of the road. 

Being cooped up in a hotel room for close to a week didn't have us going too crazy...thank you! Between breakfast and dips in the pool, and visits from your PA family you were kept pretty busy. Thank goodness there was a carnival across the street, a couple days without rain, all the easy mac you could make, a couple perch to be caught, a few dogs and cats, and lots of treats that had you spoiled rotten.
