Julia you enjoyed the toddler size wooden car with a gas hose and delayed out departure of course. Jacob was ready to go because he had his eye on a plane at the gift shop. Needless to say we made it out of there with enough money to buy three donuts at our favorite train spotting bakery. Julia you were asleep before we could drive .5 miles to the bakery only to get stopped by a train!
Life as a stay at home mom is all about the family and putting my little ones and sometimes my husband first. Therefore, I don't always get to the things I want to do! I hope this blog helps capture the moments from our day that makes cold coffee and warm beer all worth it.

A day with Aunt La
The Magic House has been patiently awaiting your visit. You two got to experience a place that Aunt La and I enjoyed as a child. It may be 8 times the original size, but it still had the familiar smell, slide, activities that sparked curiosity and exploration and most importantly the static electricity ball! You both enjoyed the fishing (Aunt La hyped it up a bit) sand, water and bubble rooms, giant musical instruments and the 3 story slide.

Grandma's Park
This park is one of your favorite places to hang when we visit Pennsylvania. Not only are there trains, barges, boats, and geese, but it also means you get to see your Grandma. This time you met some playmates. It's fun to see how you interact with others. Jacob, you were perfecting your hide and seek skills (not so well). While Julia, you were just lounging with another girl your age...delaying our departure time by the normal 10 minutes or so.
You both love spending time at the park. But this park date was a little more special than most. Seeing your grandma is something we wish we could do more often.
