Christmas Card Time

Hey guys...you won't be this cute forever, so I figure it is worth sending a couple cards out to friends and family members that we don't see to often, but definitely think of. When it comes to finding pictures worthy of the card, let's just say this year I had some help. Jacob, I appreciated your input and effort in taking many of the pictures. So many posed pictures this year required you chasing your sister. That only resulted in a grumpy look on her face and a sweet look on your face. Other times she had her fake cheesy grin ready to go! The best pictures aren't planned and usually result in half clothed children, or something that I would never want to remember as my favorite outfit of yours. I hope these pictures help capture what our year was like and gives us a tiny glimpse of what it's going to be like in 2015.

These pictures should scream curiosity from Jacob. Playfulness from the two of you with shouts of "oh man" if one or the other is making an escape difficult. These pictures should demonstrate the silly spirit that you have Julia, a gift I hope comes in handy when making friends. The musical notes should be pouring out in the pictures, but I didn't do a good job of finding the picture that shows your musical talents and interest in the classics as well as our favorites. The pictures should show a little girl that is only 2 steps behind her brother and not 25 months. Can we see your thinking represented in these pictures? If so we would see a brother doing things that his sister is repeating seconds afterwards, a constant beat that comes pouring out in taps, a little boy changing from one instrument to another after listening carefully to a song to get as close as he can to the tune without any formal lessons.

Most recently, I have seen you two act as care givers for one another. That's a plus, especially since your noses are running like a fast moving stream.  Last but not least...I'm not sure any of these pictures show the "No, I do it!" only if Julia is crying in one of the shots. Wow...I'll have to be sure to capture this lovely stage in pictures and cross my fingers that it doesn't reappear in 10 years!
