Today we had to get out of the house by 8:45! We made it by 8:50 and apparently we aren't the only ones who struggle to get to places on time with kids under the age of 40! Julia was given her light blue shirt for her first ever sporting experience! You pretty much rolled with it. Thank goodness grandma gave you the cooling rag, you were so thankful to be hot and sweaty which meant you could crack it open and cool off for what it was worth!
You only waved a couple of times and was tickled to see your dad show up for a few minutes. Jacob was even happier because it meant he was able to frog hunt with a net. Instead of a turquoise cooling rag he pretty much coated himself with a layer of pond muck. My favorite smell, not!
So instead of a trip to the library we had a detour with a shower and lunch. A fun day nonetheless, and something to keep us out of the heat and from entertaining everyone else.
