Almost 8

I believe Birthday’s should last for a month. It gives you a chance to do all of your favorite things, be with your favorite people, eat all of your number one picks and maybe do a couple things that you don’t normally do!
I’d say we have started the month off right, Jacob. I don’t mind sharing my month with you because I’m not sure it would be the same if it started a few days before Christmas and then took a break for Christmas and New Year and start back up again?!
So we combined good report cards with celebrating you and it all happened so fast you are ready for more!

Tamie even gave you and Dad her tickets to the football game so you could finish up the season with them and enjoy the same  turf the very next day! Lucky Boy!

Luckily we stuffed party favor bags And decorated a cake before the game!

You were off to hockey and back just in time for your friends arrival. Pizza, cake and Gatorade seemed to be enough! Thankfully the dome was ready for some 8 year olds to run and play. It muffled out the arguments...sorta.

This didn't stop you. You will be ready to celebrate with cousins on Wednesday and will still want more in shape of donuts for your December 21st school celebration!

Reading Nook

To my two little students. Thank you for working hard and doing your work at school. I’m sure it’s not easy when you’d rather be playing football all day or playing make believe.

Thank you for getting on the bus each day without hesitation, but with excitement! Thank you for doing kind things for others.

Julia, you had a fabulous report! How did you learn all your letters, number and letter sounds in just 3 months?! Now you are set and ready to learn to read!!

Thank goodness I got this ready before we purchased new books and bookmarks at the school book fair! I look forward to a new routine of going upstairs and grabbing a book or two and just sitting together, reading, learning, exploring and just having time together!

Hockey

We should just call you face off boy! You competed in 95% of tonight’s face offs and 1/2 of your teams goals were scored by you! You even got to skate the whole rink today too, which made for an early bedtime tonight!!

With that being said, not sure what you were more excited about today.... getting home to watch the Steeler game, putting together a turtle tank or putting together another train track.

Picture day Part 2

Not sure why I couldn’t attach these to the earlier post. Just in case I lose these, we will have them backed up on this site! I came pretty close to buying these...but I’d rather have life pictures up on my wall. Ones that make me smile and take me back in time!
