So. Somehow October is over and I feel like it just started. In fact, it didn’t even occur to me that a coupon expired on October 6th and I was totally ok trying to use it on November 6th. In fact, I was completely surprised when they said it was expired!
I guess that is just an example of how time flies and you don’t even know it! How is it that you will be 8 in December and 6 in January?
How did Halloween pass and I didn’t even get a shot of you with your cool pumpkins?
Our weeks are a little less full now that you both are done with a sport. Even though flag football is over you still talk football, play football and love watching football.
Julia, you ended tumbling and I still haven’t figured out why. You mentioned they were doing hard things, but it hasn’t stopped you from using the couch as a mat on a daily basis despite getting yelled at every time you do!
Jacob, you are still our little attacker on the ice. Your skating has improved and you have managed to score a couple goals with an actual goalie this year!
You guys actually played together! It’s happening more and more and will probably continue as the weather grows colder. I need to be more deliberate about putting toys, legos and games out for us all to stop and play. Aunt la got to enjoy some checkers with you last week and I hope we get to do some more of that come thanksgiving and Christmas break!
Pumpkin carving occurred on three different occasions and probably could have happened a couple more! You guys are helpful and appreciative...and getting to be a little more independent. That is until the carving goes beyond a basic shape! This year we had a Penn State “puma”, a cat and a dog, a Steelers emblem, a heart emoji, 2 sea turtles, and a piccachu.
Thanks for another great week!
