Nature Calls

I managed to get you two out of the house-without Buster, and made it into the woods for a hike that I was craving. Not sure where my two little adventurous sidekicks were-then again, I’m not sure you were always fired up for the ones we use to go on back before our move to Alice. 

Thinking back to our grasshopper hunts or “Pseudo” attempts to catch fish from the bridge-I usually didn’t have to beg you to be done. Partially because the weather in Iowa is tricky. It’s either too cold, too windy or too hot. Today was just right for wearing long sleeves and pants (except for you Julia) to go into the woods that was getting ready to explode with the colors of spring. 

Thanks for hanging even though one of you said your feet hurt and the other complained about the tiniest little poke for 100 yards. After today’s little adventure after being cooped up for the last month, I’m not sure you are cracked up for the Grand Canyon-

I think our outing today deserved a little more excitement. Nonetheless-we made a memory and grabbed a couple rocks to help us with that.
