A trip up north to a lake to probably freeze
Or family time fixing up my sisters front porch.
So far I'm pretty content with the "staycation"
Some pretty priceless moments came out of it and I'll never want to forget
-stopping for ice cream to see two tired kids revive themselves for a baby cone to which Julia requested a "cheers" out of the blue
-seeing my little tadpoles transform in the water and Jacob backstroking/kicking
And Julia wanting to touch the bottom of the pool
-the life lesson of miniature golfing sober with a 4 year old and a 14 year old with two younger comparative brothers
-Jacob nearly hitting his sister with a club and the first hole to being comfortable with this new hobby to get the only hole in one for the day
-josh launching his golf ball into the water as if he were competing in the Masters
-my dad doing what he does best...helping others above and beyond
-Jacob requesting a decorative metal box for "his frogs" and letting aunt la know that he'd clean it out when he would let them go
-Julia sticking mail through the mail slot to Pa and Agustin
-Julia and Jacob manning the kayak like they were pros
-Julia hiding in the canoe and playing in the tent with daddy
-Julia asking "where is me?" With a blanket partially hiding her scrunched up 36lbs
-the kids first pillow fight with their cousins and aunt
-Julia getting launched in the air from aunt la's deflated air mattress
-the cousins quoting Sandlot "you play ball like a girl" not to mention Julia just laughing
-my brother near tears when describing the special moment he had with his family at the "field of dreams"
-just simply enjoying cousin and sibling/in law time
