Christmas Tree

Your dad and I don't have many traditions, but one tradition we do have is  getting a tree after Thanksgiving. We love the whole walk through the rows and pick one out, but I won't lie, there have been times when it's just too dang cold and we settled for a pre-cut one down the street at our local nursery.

This year was nice, and it was warm enough we didn't even need a jacket. However, I missed the snow covered ground which was replaced with a muddy mess that gave meaning to slip sliding away and a quick car wash.
You two knew just what to do, and in a matter if minutes with only a walk in the perimeter of 30x30, we were done.
Dad topped the adventure off with an extra long ride in the back of the truck listening for Santa.

Afterwards, we stepped inside the little shack for a visit with Santa and some hot chocolate that left you two with brown mustaches. More on that later...
