~We stayed up until 12:35 on New Year's Eve and forgot to watch the ball drop!
~We blew our horns in the car!
~We didn't get much snow and had only a couple bitter cold days...20 below an no working furnace, ring a bell? Slept with socks on and snuggled together in the morning...dad stayed home!
~Saw Annie and had the whole place to ourselves! A little different from the Annie we have watched at home, but the kids liked it nonetheless and we have been singing the tunes lately.
~we spent Saturday mornings at the rec center
~we celebrated Julia turning 3 with "red stuff" and Jacob took great pride in decorating the house and setting the table
-trips to the store meant special helpers who liked to put all fruits and veggies in produce bags
~went to five basketball games and got autographs from the players
~had some tough lessons on hitting
~got our flu shots and 5 year old check up...45lbs and 44.8 inches
- played lots of basketball games or first one to score 5 pts in your room
~watched baby Nora and welcomed baby Everest and Gwen...Jacob said he didn't want me to have any more babies! (A friend having twins joked and said she give us one!)
~played kitchen hockey even though I don't really want to...came up with a penalty box
~had a "cold" which meant runny noses and a waste basket full if tiss-i-ues
