SNOWY DAYS mean...

Just the other day I was thinking how odd it was to see the grass before the first of April and not want to play outside because it was just plain muddy. Well, today it all changed and we were blessed with 8+ inches of snow.
When it snows a lot, it means dad gets to use a snow blower to clean off 3+driveways. That doesn't sound like fun to me, but it's better than shoveling!
Today, kids took a bath because they were cold. We read a few books, helped dad make a fire, and crepes on his return from the cold. Then we decided to take the plunge in the bed of snow in the backyard! The kids were dressed for hours of play time, but were ready to go inside when my ears were starting to tingle.(thank the lord!)

A couple years ago I was able to snap these shots while Dad was clearing a path for our mail man. These are some of my favorites.
