Generosity

Lately I have been preaching to you about manners. The other day I thought I'd give you one more lesson on generosity. You have so many people that are generous and treat you both to the things that I might not. Whenever you visit with family they spoil you with movies, homemade treats, your favorite favorites, time on quads and tractors, alligator at the park or simply give you their undivided attention. Yes, they put their world on pause just to be with you.  Time is better than any bought gift.
Although at this point in the game you do appreciate a treat or two. Especially when it come to Easter balloons. The lesson was...Stephanie does not have to spend her money on fun things for her friends. She could buy herself something really nice; instead she treats everyone to all of their favorites and you two usually get doubled up with balloons. (Balloons that I will never buy you and you probably won't want to spend your 12$ egg hunt money on) I really just wanted you to realize that Generosity is also offering to help others and making those around you feel loved and special.
Of course Jacob had to ask "how much did these balloons cost?" Not sure he understood the lesson or was he thinking man you should get the balloons at the dollar store!
Another moment I won't forget when Jacob told Aunt La she should have bought the pizzas from five dollar pizza instead of the nice brick oven pizza place:)
Gee I wonder where you get that from!
Anyhow, just a little glimpse into what you might be thinking and what I'm trying to teach.
