In June...

We saw 4 eggs in our Robin's nest
Then two...then one after your sister squished one

Walked dad to work through the prairie

Made a visit to Marion, Iowa for some park time with Aunt La and Uncle Agustin

Played your first pick up game at the park

Started listening to The Clarks and making some requests

Shared pink eye with each other and got a rash from the hot tub

Made a trip to visit Clear Lake with friends

Picked our strawberries

Had a great Friday funday as a family in our backyard:) "click" will we remember being hit with line drives or the smiles on our kids faces when they ran the bases? I hope so.

"This is going to be so fun." Is what you said as you walked up the street to our neighbor's house:)

Watched Rosco

Swam a few times
Slept in your beds most nights and crawled in ours in the morning to sleep a few more hours...most mornings until 9:00
No crying when I dropped you off at Thursday church school for 1.5hrs! I enjoyed a cup of joe and scone at the coffe stop, not! I had to go home and mow 2 out of the 5 yards I cut that day:(

Instead of enjoying my time alone I got to enjoy my afternoon with you and treated you to ice cream and a butterfly hunt!

Took dad out to eat and on a surprise fishing trip:)

Spent our mornings and down time at the pond...catching, playing with and releasing tadpoles

Got to experience what it's like to live next to a creek

Made it to our first water park and had fun with your cousins

Bought some parachutes, sparklers and smoke bombs...

Picked 30lbs of cherries:)

You both climbed the tree all by yourself!

Picked hydrangeas bigger than our head!

You made us laugh and look at each other and smile. We smile because we are blessed, thankful and want to soak up everything about you at this age.

How can we forget your toad! Luckily grandma Lois didn't have to mail you one.
You still love horses and that's what we caught you playing with every day.

Our month was busy, slow, exciting, and kind of a blur. I didn't get much done; which is a good thing. I wanted to spend my days enjoying you to fullest, and I still think I could do a better job. Let's play more games, be active, eat more ice cream (you already wake up and have fudgesicles for breakfast) color and create, be curious and explore.
Let's also appreciate all the things that we have and that we have each other. All we need is love and laughter and blessings from above...
Looky here...we even had a date!!! It was a great night at the ballpark and even better because we shared the evening with my big brother.
Once again your dad knows how to find fun!
