Your teacher sent home one of the best notes I have ever read just before we met for parent teacher conferences. It was a helpful reminder to love you for you, and not compare you to anyone. So after a thumbs up from your teacher, it was easy to love you for you!
Last year at this time you had the hardest time remembering the number 10 while playing a little math game with me, and now you are counting to one hundred with ease! Your letter sounds were learned in a matter of days which happened because of all the hard work we did together last year, NOT! You have never been a huge fan of doing anything academically with me (game or no game). So I am beyond thankful you are a sponge at school and care about the learning that is going on around you.
"Competitive" will hopefully come in handy some day and not drive me crazy!
Although I loved your getting it done this weekend when it came to you getting out the vacuum and sweeping the family room and your bedroom without us asking, say what?!
What will you do when you grow up...how did our parents trust us and believe in us enough to make it happen?
I love your honesty in rating yourself on the 7 habits.
Overall, you are just where you need to be. I'd say it's a pretty good start. We love you for you and are so thankful to be your parents.
