Sweet Julia

You are growing so fast! You are talking more and more each day. Your single word bursts are turning into two and three words to share your feelings and thinking. Before I know it, you'll be asking "why" like your brother did a few short months ago.
I promise I wil write them down.

This past summer you were no stranger to any older man that would smile at you and remind you of Pa, Don or Grandpa.

I am so blessed to have a little girl that enjoys her brother as much as I do. Jacob has the sweetness and smile that made us all fall in love , and you have the sweetness with a little spice in your smile to make sure you stand out from the rest. We love you more and more each day. Our adventures together are special moments that I will cherish, and I hope that I can capture them in these pictures.

Lucky for you, dad bought two swings that just so happened to be yellow. Here's what you thought of it!
You didn't mind getting free tractor rides from Jacob this summer. Now that you are taller and bigger, I wonder if you will both fit.

Sunny days, snowy days it doesn't matter when you find ice!
You turned out to be a healthy eater just like your brother. Having a garden was and is the best part of summer, especially in the mornings. You and your brother would head out to pick and often eat the harvest on the way back to the deck.

The Waterloo petting zoo was a favorite. In fact your dad and I passed it off as the Iowa State Fair. One day you and Jacob will catch on...but until that day we'll enjoy the little taste of Iowa that is only 15 minutes away:)

My favorite part of the day is when you start reading a book to yourself, or climb up on my lap (cutting my circulation off) to catch a glimpse of another story. Your attention to the whole book is amazing. You of course pick out all of the animals on the page.
Your love for dogs and cats should be an entry in itself. I'll never forget the morning we spent driving around a few blocks with our windows down yelling, "wosco, where are you?" This carried into our house when we couldn't find something.
Healthy eater with the sweet tooth of your dad... Ok, mom too.
You took to your brothers interest in "dand aids" and let him practice his care and prevention skills out on you!
