Our first adventure in the stroller up to campus couldn't have been more adventurous. On one hand I felt like the luckiest mom, and on the other I felt like such a failure. It just so happened that the ducks flew over head and landed right in the creek by the gas station. Upon their landing they were quickly taken down stream by the "current" to which we had to rush across the street to see if we could beat them. And we did! The rest of the walk was full of sites, and a few marks left behind on Julia as she scraped her arm when she fell out of the stroller and skinned/bruised up legs and butt cheeks as she attempted to jump but landed on the rock, not once but twice. Never turn your head away...it only takes a second and that's just what happened. I'm so sorry Julia. You are too sweet and yes naughty, but more sweet and you didn't deserve that:(
Did I mention that I don't care if my kids don't finish sugary treats? Now if they don't finish their apple or peach I'll re purpose it. or make them finish it later. Sugar...no thanks.
