"I love chocolate cake"

While reading the book, "What do you Love?" to Julia tonight the title of this post was her reply. Her morning started off with daddy swooping her up and bringing her to our bed so I could catch some more Zzz. She proceeded to grab a hold of Jacob's ear and cuddle for a few before she started singing and waking Jacob up. Shortly after waking us all up, she was pushing me out of bed and telling me to get her milk... After that, she somehow greeted me with a chocolate crumb covered face and climbed back into bed to tell me she had chocolate cookies with daddy and she dipped them in milk.

I'd say she had a certain theme for the day and it really didn't consist of much chocolate other than the cookie she scored from dad for breakfast.

However, it was a busy day none the less and it started with a couple stops on the potty, refusal to get dressed or hair untangled, a couple sibling pushes, and a 1.5 hr eye Dr. Visit. 

A pizza lunch followed the visit and falls in the parking lot and ended with a successful trip to the bathroom for Julia. A nap should of happened ASAP after all of this but I couldn't force a nap while you and Jacob were building your "nest" for a "nap" that never ever happens. Needless to say you don't get to sleep until 3 and resisted bed time until 11:10. This occurred despite playing outside for a couple of hours, bath time, 8:30 dinner time and 8 books. 

Oh well. I'm pretty sure your day of high energy and smiles were all worth it. We weighed Julia again tonight and found out that she is gaining on Jacob and is only 4 lbs away! I thought she was getting a little heavier despite not having a loaded diaper anymore.
