Halloween Week

This week was a busy one. You two were able to enjoy time with friends and family on multiple occasions. Thank goodness we have today and an extra hour of sleep to collect ourselves...sorta.

We let you go to a Halloween party on a school night! You had fun playing human hungry hippo and staying up until 9:00. Thank goodness you almost missed the bus the day of the party so you popped out of bed the next two days without any problem!

Looking for dollar bills...

Pretty determined carver at work:) it was fun to see you a little more involved this year.

Jacob enjoyed his first Costume parade and party at school.

Thanks to your cousin Mary, you were interested in the Phantom instead of scared of it!
Chicken and fries tasted pretty good after attempting the horribly slow line of trick or treat downtown!
We trick or treated at the Hoffman's and will catch our neighbors on Sunday.

Here's a little glimpse at what my halloweens were like. Chili and cousins and picking out my pumpkin were the things I looked forward to most.

Now for your dad...I'll try a get some pictures up for you to see why he's ok with having more than a couple carved pumpkins.

A Handful of Fall

This is just the beginning of fall...and it will be over before we know it. Hopefully not before we get our tulips planted or front porch finished. It would be nice if I could get the fence stained and the spring foliage clipped. Hopefully you two will want to help out with that so we can all have fun and enjoy the last warm days together. Anyhow, thanks for hopping out of the car to see if the trees were right for pictures. At least we got to test out leaf throwing! Just look at your faces. I think dad and I are in trouble if this continues on our turf.
