We couldn't have had a more perfect day to take you guys to the zoo. The train still remains one of your favorite things to do, although running around like animals was right up there. This trip was the one where you took to a map and tried to route your own trip. The reptile and ape house seemed to be the most appropriate thing to do and it was the closest! Pa surprised you with a wonderful snack/lunch and boy were you two happy. It's not every day we get to go to the zoo, and I'm sure glad your grandparents love you two even though sometimes you may act like animals!
Julia, I just couldn't' stop looking at your braids and loved to see your smile when it was "all aboard!"
Jacob, I can't wait until next time when you might actually be reading some of the signs to us!
