March "Sadness" Madness

This March, our UNI Panthers have helped you guys gain an understanding of what buzzer beaters are. Sadly they didn't help you learn the meaning of sweet sixteen. 

The ending of the Panthers run on March 20th of March madness had your dad and I sad. Only because they worked so hard and had a win but somehow lost it in a matter of seconds. (If only Matt didn't get hurt) 

You definitely learned the importance of defense from these guys...and just how critical it is to be a team player. (Still working on that one.)

This season, your dad had you working on a drop step to the basket and trying to get your ball to spin while shooting it! You improved your lay ups and continue shooting and making it from farther out. 

Your sister is catching on and spending more time playing with us and less time on her scooter. 

We love it when you let her scoot closer to make one...and cringe when it is always about winning. On the flip side we love listening to your accurate counting, and explanation of events in the game.

Even though the last game was a sad one, we have had so many happy moments as a family because of these guys!
