Sunshine, snorkeling, skim boards, shaved ice, a sandcastle and a sun hat...

....are just a part of a day on the beach. 

So, "the best dad" takes you to one of the hundreds of beach stores. Thank goodness you don't come back with a hermit crab! But you do make it back with a fan, a necklace and a snorkel set. Let's just say none of them made it back in one piece! "Junk" come on. As for the skim boards, they might make a return trip next year and hopefully you improve your technique.  

Shaved ice...now we are talking! That's worth the money!!

More snorkeling and lessons from aunt la

This time with one that won't break and one to make Julia happy! 

Building a sandcastle is more fun when we work together and you are given permission to bark the orders. Julia was extra positive reinforcement. We didn't make anything too elaborate, just enjoyed the therapy that playing in the sand can bring!

Oh and a sun hat as well as the beginning of you wearing your favorite rainbow dress! Today, it is me trying to talk you out if wearing a dress...imagine that! 

Finally, the last "s" word in the series is SPOILED! (Oh and salt and vinegar chips!) Most days I think you are deserving but the manners need to bump it up a notch!

However, I'd say this is a pretty sweet view of a day at the beach.
