The American Girl Doll

This is the year that Santa decided it would be more fun to shop for a present after his visit. Boy was that good thinking or what. I'm sure Mrs. Claus had a little bit to do with it. Thanks to dad he got the car packed the night before, and we were able to head out of town early. This gave us plenty of time to make an important purchase at a store we have driven by numerous times. I am sad to admit that this is a store I said you would never get to experience. Needless to say, you have a good dad who loves you more than he could have ever dreamed of, and this picture doesn't even capture it all. Thanks for being our little doll. You hardly ever ask for anything, and the moment you are given something there is always a smile and a thank you following. Let's just say this experience was a pretty sweet one and the only extra thing you requested was a date with your doll at the Bistro. Well, you can't do this in Iowa. So we booked a lunch date for you and your doll. This is just the beginning of your adventure with Dolls. Thanks to older neighbors you have an idea of how cool some of the accessories can be, and thanks to a January birthday you will get to enjoy some of them soon!

Free ears pierced! Now that makes this doll a bargain!

So instead of a mommy daughter experience, you took the other man you have wrapped around your finger. Thanks dad, for making my little girl as happy as you make me.
