St. Louis Christmas

This year your dad and I struggled with the decision of where to spend our family Christmas. It wasn't until you, Julia, had a plan for us! (Tiptoe downstairs, open up the presents and then drive to St. Louis.) You sealed the deal.
We traded in a white Christmas in Iowa for a sunny one in St. Louis. Due to a cough and "not feeling so well" you also got a blue slushy out of the deal. Tis' the sugar season, right!

Some of our favorites...
Playing hockey with dad and his cousins was Jacob's favorite part of the day.

Along with all the attention you guys get immediately.

Christmas Jammies and a photo shoot on the fireplace is one of my favorites.

This year you guys added a little drama and scripture reading. Julia, you jumped right in as Mary. "Caleb was my master!"
While your brother was a little more reluctant but took the role of the Little Drummer boy a lot better than Joseph!
Molly's debut as the little sheep was pretty cute and had us all laughing.

This year our beginning reader felt confident in handing out the gifts. Julia you were so patient and we were all pleasantly surprised with our gifts.
