I was hoping for a little afternoon cat nap with you two, instead I was playing hide and seek, and listening to you run and chase each other. So much for taking it easy!
Once dad joined in the fun we managed to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner! Yep. Haven't been feeling the greatest, so that sounded like a piece of cake. While I ran down to the gas station for Buns and a full tank of gas that only cost $32, dad had you two looking out the window for Santa spottings.
Julia, you only requested mustard a million times and had to put ketchup on first. Squirt packets made it seem like a treat.
Next came s'mores. Julia you didn't even eat yours and Jacob barely finished his. (Don't worry. Andy enjoyed them the next day)
Before we called it a night. The elves reminded us that we needed to leave Santa and reindeer treats. And that's just what you did.
Carrots and apples for the reindeer.
Beer and cookies for Santa, oh and notes too! The first note from Jacob said, "Dear Santa,
My sister just kicked me." Boy did that cause problems!
Thanks for being fun, excited little children. We will enjoy it while it lasts.
So sorry about scaring the life out of you two last night when you couldn't find us upstairs. We felt awful and knew that we would do anything to make it up to you...aside from all the gifts! And that's just what we did. Onto Christmas tradition.
