Julia, you even wore the lamb headband!
However, I think your favorite part was traveling to the church through the secret passage way!
Jacob, you just looked tired up on stage and I was praying that you didn't fall off the stage because you would have landed right in the nativity or gotten tangled up in the angel's wings.
You two were deserving of lunch out after that! So we met back up with dad and got lunch at a pub down the street, complete with darts and bar bowling. Jacob, you are quite the counter and think that adding numbers is fun!
Julia, you might remember that bar as the place where your hand was closed in the van door. Yes, really. Worst feeling ever as I look behind me to see you buckled in your seat screaming and your hand caught in the door! How on earth did it not smash your little hand? Thank the lord they made that a safety feature. You were hurt for all of two seconds and two hours later you forgot which hand was victim to the closing door!
Annie on ice was another treat! Bonus for us we only had to pay for one ticket! That was a daddy deal. You two liked it and enjoyed the fact that Jacob's skate teachers were Miss Hannigan and Daddy warbucks.
We came home after a long trip to Target to find dad brought you home another surprise!
Thanks for a great weekend.
Remember when...Julia called me Miss Hannigan while making her brush her teeth! And while reading books Jacob had his first word confusion with beginning letter sound? Rabbit=wabbit
"That's not rabbit, there's no w!"
Remember a long time ago when Jacob called fountains, mountains!
