Adventure with the Neighbors

Our Wednesday afternoons are reserved for adventures and fun this whole year. Somehow, news got out and everyone wanted to join in! So after we made snow cones and flew some Styrofoam airplanes in the backyard, we packed the van with a couple extra kids and as many nets we could find.
With no snacks or water packed we set out on an adventure with a mission to catch some frogs and maybe if we were lucky a snake. It was a hot day, so I was hoping it wouldn't last too long. You managed to catch a few hoppers and covered new ground. I can't wait to go back for a longer hike when the weather cools down. The kids were funny, and you enjoyed their company as well. You managed to score ice cream cones when we got back and called another neighbor to come and play a game of hockey.
