Football time of year

You two gave a whole new meaning to football season this weekend. Instead of having the PSU game on we had Transformers Prime, instead of nachos we had cheese and cracker assortment along with a couple other snacks leftover from last weekend presented ever so nicely by our little host and hostess. Instead of sitting on the couch to watch the game, we sat on the deck and took a break from our own game just so we could enjoy some more treats. Thankfully dad got the adults some "power"ade in the form of a beer, while you two were content with mixing up your own concoction of Gatorade.
The football given to us by our neighbor the other day, prompted us to start a flag football game of our own. Last year we watched your cousins play and this year you were the expert after only playing for 10 minutes in our backyard!
On a side note, Julia isn't helping out with convincing you that girls can be athletes. After the snaps were made Julia would take off heading towards the correct goal line, yippee! That is until you would go for the attack causing her to turn and run away from the defensive tackle and down the ball in your end zone, every time!

Overall our weekend was pretty good. We had some time with friends, fish, Sunday School and each other. Hopefully you got all your sillies out and we will have another great week with our school routine...and maybe a grand adventure. Thanks for being the perfect host and hostess this week. Not too many 5 year olds will fill water cups for guests, make sure there is adequate table space on the deck, or think to have a divided tray to house the variety of snacks:) Love you guys.
