September 23

Six years ago we found out we were pregnant with you. That is another story for another decade! However, on September 23, 2009 I became the mom that would do anything for you. With the help of your dad, family and friends along with the greatest hospital staff I could have asked for, I was able to keep my sanity for a 3 month stay in a hospital room.
Now, six years later I am still that mom who would do anything for you. Today it was in the form of a snake hunt!
Yes, I should get a lot of credit for 3 months in the hospital, but I think in some cases I might get a lot more credit for not being scared of snakes and being willing to catch one for you instead of running away!

Thanks for being that brave boy who helped me get through some of the long and boring days in the hospital. Whether it was in the form of a kick, hiccups or you simply rolling around to get more comfortable...you made it worth every second of every day. Love you more than you'll ever know. You giving me a kiss before you got on the bus today, made it worth a million times over! Wow, a genuine, unsolicited kiss as the bus was rolling up our street! I should pretend to misplace things more often and then magically find them seconds before the bus arrives!

And then along came Julia...
