Last week we were leaving church and were a bit delayed in our departure time because we came across our first grasshopper of the summer. So, instead of going home and unpacking to pack and bake cookies to take with...we made it to our favorite grasshopper trail.
It's not quite grasshopper season, but you were content chasing butterflies and dragonflies. I sent dad some pictures of you guys and he couldn't resist the beautiful afternoon to meet up with us. Julia, once you spotted him you took off running until you were wrapped in his arms.
Jacob you enjoyed looking at the fish and used the bridge for a whole new purpose. I really hope you get that out of your system before school starts!!
It was a pretty good adventure but it delayed getting packed and cleaning the house...which is what you guys will remember anyway. NOT!
