Lil' slugger

So who is going to be the little slugger in our family? Jacob, you keep us on our toes and know how to serve line drives. Julia, I can't get over how patient and determined you are to hit one.

This summer is the start of backyard ball. Julia, you just want to fit in and do what the older boys are doing. You always have a smile on your face and a chuckle when doing it which makes me wish we would do it more often. However, often times you just start dancing or doing your own thing. Whatever strikes your fancy!
Most of the time your brother goes along with it, but it's the neighbor boys that are so good and patient with you.
We are working on finding things for you to do while Jacob is playing with the older boys...but you really could care less. The other day when playing basketball you passed it right away giving us a reason to praise you...unfortunately your brother didn't catch on and see that passing is cool. It's fun watching you become you...but it is also fun to think that you might be a little athlete some day. Whatever it is that you both become will make me happy, as long as you are having fun doing it! Luckily I enjoyed my life on the field and it paid off greatly...I doubt we can have that go on for another generation...but we shall see.

Found this in a drawer and thought I should document what tortoise glasses and hairspray can do for a look. Thanks
Mom and dad for supporting me on and off the field. I never felt like I was without:)
I think there is a story to these glasses, which ill share with you two once you have to be responsible for something like glasses. Most likely you'll be responsible for technology first, to which I have a couple of those stories too.
