A week with your cousins

We were earlier risers this week and got a lot accomplished by 9:00

You enjoyed the freedom on the road and   left St. Louis without any major scrapes...just a few bug bites. 

You put tape to use after the boys worked on homework. Kudos to Aunt Jen for getting your cousins to complete morning tasks. 

You two grabbed chapter books off every shelf because you wanted to be jut like your cousins! 

Enjoyed the pool, especially the tea party with Grandma and Pa

Had some time to dress up with Mary and even had curls and flat ironed hair! 

Washed two cars to make some money or earn points...but didn't get the meaning of saving money this week. 

Julia, you took forever to bowl...finally your cousins helped speed up the process. Your brother even brought you the second ball before the pins had been cleared! Jacob smoked everyone everyone in the first game and didn't even know it. Your cousins weren't too thrilled with your two strikes and a spare...the best part is you didn't care. You two just enjoyed playing with your cousins:)

Tempted to buy you these for Christmas...but i think I'll just let you enjoy them at school, Julia. 

When will you get a Game Center?

The best ride you two had all day:)

Pizza party and slushes from Pa at the Fair...doesn't get much better than that. Oh wait, he treated you to Steak 'n Shake malts and sliders afterwards!!!

You all took turns blowing your five dollars on games that weren't even a challenge.

But you got to play attack the next morning with your weapons. 

Squeezed a quick game of 500 in the grass lot across the street. Molly was the best player...makes me want a retriever pup.

According to Jacob, this was the best day ever! I think you just enjoyed the attention from your cousins and playing games with them made it more fun for everyone.

You managed to watch your cousins in an All Star game and cheered for both of them while racing to the concession stand to score a few treats.You knew which ones would make your cousins happy and had no problem sharing. 

On the way there you were explaining that the game took the two best players from each team...that was the cute thing you picked up from your cousins. Hopefully the other one that we are working on doesn't get you in trouble at school..."you idiot" but you struggle with idiot and say "you Indian" half the time.
