Week 1 in the books....38 to go!

This weekend was all about you two, but mainly Jacob. After starting your first week of school and getting out early, we figured we better reward the heck out of you for doing such a nice job the first week so that you might want to go back to school after the weekend.
Considering you were ready to skip school on the third day...your dad made sure I was taking it easy on you.
Here's a couple shots to capture just what you two are like at the end of the summer...CRAZY!!!

Well, slowly but surely we obtained more information about your first week of school from you. You played "zombie" at recess and happened to give our neighbor friend a bloody lip.The mystery to a full water bottle coming home was solved when we received a negative balance notice in your account. "Mom, they have strawberry milk!" you whispered to me:) So you just took a couple like everyone else!
I figured out the bus driver's name and he did us a huge favor by waiting for you to get on the bus in the rain after he had already picked up the kids at your stop! Phew. However, later that day you came strolling into the house all by yourself...I wasn't quite ready for you to cross the street without my help for another month or so.
While out shopping, you recognized two girls from your class at the grocery store by saying, "I know you!" That was pretty cute. Considering you are one of 7 boys in your class it is more likely that we will run into more girls than boys.
After meeting with your teacher, she was surprised/happy that you jumped right in the first week. I hope this means that you'll want to please her and are a mindful student.

Your sister's first day was pretty good as well. She hasn't shared much about her day other than the fact that she didn't cry.
