If you take a Julia and Jacob to the fair...

They will see all the fun that awaits them and they will ask to go on some rides...
So you will put them on one of the first ones they see and forget about if they are age appropriate
(Sorry about that one Jacob. Kind of hard to appreciate a motorcycle ride when you have been on a real one)

They will see Cotton Candy three times the size of their head, and they will want that one.
They will want to do something else after the rides shut down for a lunch break. So their cousins will take them to the animal side of the fair. They will see Clydesdale, pigs, calves, sheep, goats, chicks, and fish.

After they see the animals, they will want to pet them. Thankfully they could do so in the Ag tent.

After they pet the animals and pick up a worm bigger and fatter than any worm they have ever seen, they will be ready for a lunch break themselves.

You will take them to the food area and they will devour a whole pizza with their cousins. Next, they will be thirsty and will want something to drink. So Jacob will ask Pa for a slushie...which Pa gladly buys a round for everyone. Even a beer for their mom.

After the food is all gone they will want to do something else. With full bellies and money burning a whole in their pockets they head to Midway, to ride some more rides...

Their mom will suggest they wait in line for the  Ferris Wheel. While riding the Ferris wheel Julia will decide she needs to use the bathroom and Jacob will experience another "boring" ride.

After they get off the Ferris wheel Julia makes a mad dash for the bathroom. On the way their she gets distracted by the "Goldfish" as the prize for a game and almost forgets she needed to use the restroom.
When she's done she notices the face painting stand and "demands" she gets her face painted like a purple cheetah.

Once the cousins get a couple more rides in the kids will decide it's time to go home. However, before they head home they will want a prize like their cousins and spend their $5 on an inflatable weapon.

While waiting for their ride to pick them up, Jacob will find a toad on the fair grounds and beg to take him home. Clearly it was a sunny day and all of the kids including the toad were a little overheated and needing a quiet place to rest.
A heartbroken Jacob gets into the van without his toad. Little does he know that he will catch 5 frogs in the coming days.
Thankfully a malt and a slider make everyone happy and one of them catches some zzzz's on the way home.
